Police file cases against TDP leader, activists
Machilipatnam, Jun 6 (UNI) Police today registered cases against Gudivada Municipal Vice Chairman S Chandra Sekhara Rao and other TDP activists for causing damage to National Highway 214 at Gudivada town by installing a bronze statue of late Chief Minister N T Rama Rao.
Police said the cases were registered against Mr Rao and other TDP activists based on a complaint from Pamarru National Highway wing Assistant Engineer K S S N Reddy.
In his complaint, Mr Reddy submitted that Mr Rao and other TDP activists had installed the bronze statue without availing any permission from the department concerned.
