TN: One killed, 8 injured in gang attack

Tiruvallur, Jun 6: A railway employee was killed on the spot and eight others, including two women were injured when a gang attacked them with lethal weapons at L V Puram near here last night.

Police said the deceased Maria Selvam (52) and his family members were attacked by the gang during a family function at their house.

Exact reason for the attack was yet to be ascertained.

The injured were admitted to Government Hospital here.

Twelve persons were arrested in connection with the incident, police added.
