MLC donates his salary in CM relief fund

Patna, June 6 (UNI) MLC Devesh Chandra Thakur from Tirhut graduate constituency today donated his three years' salary in the CM relief fund.

After donating his salary at one Anne Marg, Mr Thakur informed he donated Rs 2.16 lakh in the fund for public welfare. Mr Thakur said of the six years of his tenure he had already donated two years' salary for education of the poor and meritorious students and now the salary of the rest was donated in the CM relief fund.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar appreciated the generous donation by Mr Thakur and said the fund would be spent on the needy people.
