MCX records Rs 100.7 cr deliveries in May contracts
Mumbai, Jun 6 (UNI) Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) of India today recorded deliveries for May in 13 commodities, including bullion and agriculture, totalling Rs 100.74 crore.
Of this, bullion delivery itself accounted for over Rs 84 crore with gold mini's (157.2 kgs) share at Rs 14.24 crore and silver (37,890 kgs) at Rs 69.91 crore.
An MCX spokesperson said, ''Among agriculture commodities, mentha oil deliveries (123,120 kg) were valued at Rs 6.29 crore, potato Agra (5130 tonnes) at Rs 2.84 crore and potato Tarkeshwar (1230 tonnes) at Rs 0.75 crore.'' Chana deliveries (1090 tonnes) accounted for Rs 2.4 crore, jeera (75 mt) at Rs 0.87 crore, cardamom (6.2 mt) at Rs 0.28 crore, black pepper (34 mt) 0.51 crore, guarseed (470 mt) at Rs 0.82 crore, coffee Robusta (195 mt) at Rs 1.36 crore, rubber (52 mt) at Rs 0.43 crore and arecanut at Rs 0.04 crore.
