Maruti launches world-class Driving School at Panchkula

Panchkula, June 6 (UNI) Maruti Udyog Limited today launched its driving school at Sector 9, Panchkula.

This is Maruti's third Driving School in the state, after Gurgaon and Faridabad. The Maruti Driving School(MDS) will be managed by Berkeley Automobiles Ltd, region's leading Maruti authorised dealership and service facility.

The Driving School was inaugurated by Mr Ramendra Jakhu, Financial Commissioner (Transport) and Principal Secretary, Government of Haryana.

Mr R S Kalsi, Chief General Manager (North) and Mr R K Parimoo, General Manager (Sales Support) of Maruti Udyog Ltd were also present on the occasion.

The MDS has a world-class simulator. This simulator is a machine on which learners can practice all car controls like steering, accelerator, brake and gear shift before they take the actual vehicle on the road.

The simulators can also create various road and weather conditions like fog, dim light, uphill and downhill terrain. So learners can practice in all road conditions and get a complete learning.

While there will be a standard learning package for beginners, the MDS will also offer the flexibility of additional learning modules so that learners can design a curriculum of their choice.
