Hooda inspects Gurgoan-New Delhi CNG bus
Chandigarh, Jun 6 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today inspected the newly-built Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) bus, which would ply between Gurgoan and New Delhi, at his residence here.
Transport Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala was also present on the occasion for the inspection of the bus.
Financial Commissioner and Principle Sectretary (Transport) Ramendra Jakhu said the fully air conditioned bus was manufactured at a cost of Rs 45 lakh. It would accomodate 42 people at a time, he added.
He said there was a proposal to add 15 such CNG buses in the fleet of Haryana Roadways buses which would ply in the National Capital Region (NCR).
