Football player killed in accident

Ambala, June 6 (UNI) A promising football player, Neha Rani, was killed in a road accident here today.

Neha, a student of Plus Two in the Government Senior Secondary School, was going for football practice on her bicycle when a truck hit her at the Mission Hospital Chowk. She was rushed to the Mission hospital where she was declared brought dead.

Neha was daughter of Ganga Ram, a cobbler at Baldevnagar who was supporting his daughter's aspirations with his hard earned income.

He said that his family had dreams that one day their daughter would become an international player.

The Police impounded the truck and registered a case. The dead body was handed over to the family after postmortem.
