CPI(ML) demands resignation of CM Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee
Kolkata, June 6 (UNI) The CPI(ML)-Liberation would stage a demonstration in front of the district administration offices on June 26 demanding resignation of Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee for March 14 Nandigram carnage.
The ruling CPI(M) is playing dirty politics on Nandigram issue by calling peace meeting and some political parties were falling in that trap, but Bhumi Ucchhed Pratirodh Committee(BUPC) is determined not to allow those in the area who were involved in the March 14 massacre, CPI(ML)-Liberation state secretary Kartick Pal told newspersons here.
He said peace in Nandigram was not possible until Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee tendered his resignation and punishment was given to Haldia MP Laxman Seth were not met.
The government should change the land acquisition policy for industrialisation in the state, Mr Pal demands.
