Hyderabad, Jun 6 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Legislative party (CLP ) Leaders led by Government Chief Whip N Kiran Kumar Reddy today left for West Bengal to study welfare programmes and reforms taken up by the CPI (M) Government in the state.

According to a press release here, Mr Reddy alleged the CPI and the CPI (M) in the state were resorting to 'anti-democratic' activities and deliberately violating the law and order in Andhra Pradesh with a 'hidden agenda' to help the Opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) gain political mileage in 2009 Assembly elections.

Urging the CPI (M) to stop such undemocratic activities and follow its orginal ideology, the CLP leaders said they would expose the party's 'double standards' on the issues raked up by the Andhra Pradesh unit and 'Marxist' ideology after its Bengal visit.
