22 injured in private bus collision in HP
Dharamshala, Jun 6 (UNI) Twenty two passengers were injured in a collision between two private buses at Dhaulatpur in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh early today, police sources said.
A speeding private bus rammed into another just outside Government Senior Secondary School at Dhaulatpur, about 28 km from here, on the Mataur-Shimla National Highway in the district, early today.
The sources said the driver of the speeding bus failed to control the vehicle, which crashed into another, leaving 22 passengers injured in the accident.
The injured were admitted to Civil Hospital in Kangra.
The sources said three of the seriously injured were later on referred to Dr Rajender Prasad Medical College and Hospital here, where the doctors described their condition critical, while eights others were discharged after first aid.
The driver of the speeding bus has been arrested under Sections 279, 336 and 337 under the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the sources added.
