Two deaths in separate incidents in the district

Barasat, Jun 5 (UNI) The body of a 23-year-old was today recovered from Jetia Pankoyat under North 24 Pargansa, very near his residence in Jadu Bati.

Police suspected that Sudip Chowdhury, who lived with his father and stepmother, got involved in a family dispute last night. His parents had demanded money from him on a daily basis, police said.

Police said that his death may have been the result of last nihgt's dispute.

The local people alleged that he had been poisoned by his parents and left there to be later recovered by them.

The body has been sent for post mortem to ascertain the actual cause of death.

Meanwhile, in another incident, a local un-licensed electrician Raj Kumar Saha was electrocuted after he climbed up a high voltage electricity pole.

His body hung from the pole and wires for a few hours until Electricity Board officials and the police released his body.

The Electricity Board officials confirmed that he was not an employee with the department neither a licensed electrician.
