Sonia to inaugurate Jai Hind TV on Aug 20

New Delhi, June 5 (UNI) Former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Pradesh Congress Chief Ramesh Chennithala today met Party President Sonia Gandhi and discussed organisational matters of the state.

Mr Chennithala told mediapersons here that they had discussed some of the decisions taken at the recent Executive of the KPCC(I).

He said Ms Gandhi had agreed to inaugurate a new Malayalam television channel--Jai HInd--at a function in Delhi on August 17.

The channel will be launched under the patronage of the Pradesh Congress Committee.
