Mumbai, June 5 (UNI) GoAir Airways Managing Director Jeh Wadia has denied reports that Paramount Airways was picking 40 per cent stake in the low-cost airline but said various investors have shown interests in the airline.

''There is no truth in the reports that Paramount is taking stakes in GoAir and neither is that group among those investors who have shown interest in GoAir,'' Mr Wadia said while talking to UNI.

Mr Wadia, however, refused to divulge details about the investors and the percentage of stakes that they have shown interest in, saying all these things will be finalised when the matter comes up before the board of directors.

When asked where the airlines finds itself against the backdrop merger of Jet-Sahara, proposed merger of Air India-Indian and tie up of Kingfisher-Air Deccan, Mr Wadia said GoAir is the number one airline as far as the load factor is concerned.
