Nikkei up 0.3 pct as Nippon Mining, oil stock gain

Tokyo, June 5: The Nikkei average rose 0.26 percent on Tuesday with investors picking up energy stocks such as Nippon Mining Holdings Inc. after oil climbed above a barrel in London.

The Nikkei share average was up 46.37 points at 18,019.79 as of 0001 GMT, and the broader TOPIX index gained 0.26 percent to 1,777.41.
