NCP wants to see Mickey Pacheco as deputy chief minister

Panaji, June 5 (UNI) The NCP, which has bagged three seats, would like to see Mickey Pacheco, who has been re-elected from Benaulim constituency in South Goa, as deputy chief minister.

Party general secretary Surendra Furtado, told UNI that deputy chief minister Dr Wilfred De Souza, who lost from Saligao, continues to be the NCP chief in Goa.

The NCP, which wrested the assembly seats of Tivim and Vasco from the BJP, is jubilant that it has increased its tally against the last elections despite having lost in Saligao.
