Motorola launches handset with FM radio

New Delhi, June 5 (UNI) Close on the heels of Reliance and Tata Indicom, world's second largest mobile phone maker Motorola today entered the FM radio phone segment with the launch of its new mobile phone 'MOTOSLVR L9' priced at Rs 9,499.

The new handset has an integrated FM radio which comes with a 512MB card and an external microSD memory card support capable of up to 2GB.

MOTOSLVR L9's integrated music player with stereo Bluetooth wireless technology allows users to freely enjoy music wirelessly.

Even when travelling, users can listen to their music uninterrupted in airplane mode.

''The new handset takes Motorola's MOTOSLVR design and packs it with outstanding music and imaging capabilities for the Indian consumer,'' Motorola Mobile Devices India vice-president and general manager Malcolm Dawe said.

The new handset also provides users with multimedia experience with impressive features, outstanding performance, powerful imaging and features new Crystaltalk technology, enabling the users to hold conversations in noisy environments.

The handset will automatically account for the background noise and adjust the audio to match the ambient volume.

MOTOSLVR L9 also provides users with a rich visual entertainment experience via a 2.0 mega-pixel camera with 8x digital zoom, video capture with 4x zoom and full screen landscape playback at 30 frames per second. In addition, it supports progressive downloading and video streaming, enabling quick music and video downloads.
