MeritTrac partners with Carnegie Speech of US

Bangalore, Jun 5 (UNI) MeritTrac Services, India's largest skill assessment company, today announced a strategic partnership with Carnegie Speech of the US to bring world-renowned Carnegie Speech Assessment automated voice evaluation technology to India.

On the occasion, MeritTrac also formally unveiled a thought paper on voice evaluation which throws light on the benefits to the voice-based BPO players by adopting a different philosophy on assessments.

To familiarise the Indian businesses with the new tools and technology, there would be a series of workshops in Delhi, Bangalore and Pune, a company release here said.

The new automated speech testing technology/tool was superior to existing tools, which usually grade users against a general benchmark of English fluency.

The new tool provides a cost-effective, objective assessment capability to BPO companies and educational institutions that need to assess large number of applicants, the release added.
