Energy Security Mission launched in Kerala

Palakkad, June 5 (UNI) Kerala Governor R L Bhatia today launched the State Energy Security Mission to popularise power saving measures.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the initiatives taken by Kerala in energy conservation were a model to others.

Mr Bhatia expressed the hope that all tribals and families of fishermen in the state would be provided with electricity connection soon.

State Electricity Minister A K Balan presided over the function in which Local Administration Minister Paloli Mohammedkutty were also present.
