Criminal wanted for murder at judge's house nabbed

New Delhi, Jun 5 (UNI) Police today arrested a notorious criminal wanted for the May 20 murder of a Tata official at a judge's house in Patna, from Majnu Ka Tila area in North Delhi.

Anil Kumar Singh alias Anil Bihari was arrested by Crime Branch sleuths this afternoon close to Majnu Ka Tila gurdwara while he was returning from Jammu in a bus following a tip-off, police said today.

On May 20 last Anil had entered the house of a Central Administrative Tribunal judge Sadhana Srivastava in Patna to rob and during that murdered an official of the Tata company and threw his body from the 8th floor of the building.

The Bihar Police had announced a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head.

The 28-year-old accused has 18 cases against him in Delhi and two in Patna.
