Councillors to avail benefits of sport centre

Mumbai, Jun 5 (UNI) The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) councillors can now avail of sporting facilities once the proposal to modernize and upgrade Brihanmumbai Mahanagarpalika play ground, at Shivaji Park, Dadar is passed in the Standing committee.

The corporators and the officials and employees of the BMC along with other members can utilize the park and enjoy sport activities that will be developed there.

Similarly, a proposal to reconstruct the play ground at CST has been presented and a underground parking place will be developed in the garden premises.

Funds worth Rs 10 crores has been provided for the development of the play ground at Dadar, and the one at CST has been provided with Rs 2 crores.
