Blue Dart launches special scheme for students, offers 50% rebate

Mumbai, June 5 (UNI) Blue Dart, South Asia's largest air express, courier and package distribution company, today said it has introduced a special scheme for students 'Students Special Offer (SSO)' ahead of the new academic year.

Under the scheme, 50 per cent discount will be given to them on delivery charges for admission/application documents to be submitted to colleges within India.

''Blue Dart has an established credibility among corporate customers in shipping their critical documents which are time sensitive, we have extended this offer to students for their important documents at a reduced rate,'' said Tulsi N Mirchandaney senior vice-president (Marketing&Projects) of Blue Dart while talking to UNI.

In today's competitive scenario, each student applies to 5-6 colleges on an average, she said and added that their primary requirements are reliability and timely submission, with the option of tracking the movement of the package.

The offer is available to high school students applying for graduation and college students for post-graduation studies within India.

The documents on which rebate will be given include college/university application forms, mark sheets, certificates, fee drafts/cheques and other administrative documents. The eligibility for the scheme is that the envelope should be addressed to the college, university academic cell or the admission centre, she added.
