BJP holds dharna demanding implementation of G O 610

Hyderabad, June 5 (UNI) The BJP city unit today held a dharna in front of the Police Commissioner office here, demanding the government repatriate non-local police officials from the Telangana region by implementing the G O 610, as part of its month-long agitational programmes.

Speaking to newspersons after organising the dharna, BJP state General Secretary K Laxman alleged that the government was not sincere in implementing the G O and was betraying the people of backward Telangana region by not providing jobs.

Reports from Nalgonda district said the BJP activists had ransacked the District Education Office demanding the non-local teachers should be repatriated to their own regions.

Police had arrested the activists and booked cases against them for damaging furniture in the office.
