8,250 fresh teachers to be employed in Uttarakhand
Dehradun, June 5 (UNI) The Uttarakhand government has taken a decision to employ 8,250 new teachers in the state before the new academic session begins this year.
Chief Minister B C Khanduri said the decision was taken in a bid to strengthen the education system in the state particularly in the remote and far flung areas. He declared that the teachers deputed in the remote areas would also be given an extra benefit of 50 per cent of cash in lieu of house rent. He said that trasparency in the transfer process would be ensured.
