1681 students clear CBSE Pre Med, Dental entrance exams

New Delhi, Jun 5 (UNI) As many as 1,681 candidates have cleared the 2007 CBSE All India-Pre Medical and Pre Dental Entrance Examinations, results for which were declared today.

A Board spokesperson said a similar number-- 1,681-- of pupils have been placed in the wait list.

The examinations were held in two phases-- preliminary and final. More than 2,10,316 candidates had appeared for the preliminary stage of which 17,135 qualified for final examinations, held on May 13.

The first round of counselling will start from June 15 by personal appearance through video conferencing.

The results are available on CBSE website www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in.
