Vajpayee to attend ceremony of Goyal's 60 yrs in public life

Mumbai, Jun 4 (UNI) Former Prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarsanghchalak K C Sudarshan will be among a host of stalwarts attending a ceremony here to celebrate former union minister Vedprakash Goyal's 60 years in public life on June 8.

BJP general secretary Vinod Tawade told reporters today that leader of the opposition L K Advani, BJP president Rajnath Singh, Party's national general secretary Gopinath Munde and state BJP president Nitin Gadkari will be among those attending the ceremony.

Eighty-year-old Mr Goyal was BJP's treasurer for a long time and his wife Chandrakanta was a party MLA.

He said a book on the life of Mr Goyal ''Jeevan me Deep Jale'' will also be released at the function, to be held at Shanmukhananda hall in north-east Mumbai.
