Ispat Industries to set up 1200 MW power plant in C'garh

New Delhi, June 4 (UNI) Ispat Industries Ltd today entered into a revised memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Chhattisgarh government for setting up a 1200 MW coal-based power project with an investment of Rs 5,300 crore in the state.

The company has superceeded the earlier MoU signed on January 10 with the Chhattisgarh government for setting up a 600 MW power project worth Rs 2,500 crore.

The implementation of the MoU would be taken up by the company after obtaining all requisite approvals.
