TDP's 'shift' in economic policies to woo Left: BJP
Hyderabad, June 3 (UNI) The BJP unit in Andhra Pradesh today charged the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) with adopting 'opportunistic economic policies' to gain political mileage ahead of the 2009 Assembly elections.
In a letter to TDP President and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, a copy of which was released to the press here, BJP State President Bandaru Dattatreya alleged that the TDP was adopting 'alternative economic policies' to woo the Left parties towards forging an alliance before the assembly elections.
The BJP leader asked the TDP to clarify its stand on SEZ, labour reforms and World Bank loans.
