Praful Patel to get honorary doctorate by UK varsity

Mumbai, Jun 3: Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Praful Patel will be conferred with honorary doctorate by the Leeds metropolitan University of UK on June 7 for his exemplary contributions in the civil aviation sector.

The degree will be presented by the Chancellor of the University at leads. Mr Patel is the first Union Minister in the country to get such an honour from the University.

Talking to UNI, Mr Patel confirmed the report and said he will be going to Leeds to receive the honour.
