Kalka Mail and Howrah-Jodhpur Express rescheduled
Kolkata, Jun 3 (UNI) The Howrah-Delhi Kalka Mail and Howrah-Jodhpur Express, under the Eastern Railway (ER), have been rescheduled following the late running of corresponding down trains.
ER sources said 2311 up Howrah-Delhi Kalka Mail scheduled to leave Howrah at 1940 hours today would leave the station at 0100 hours tomorrow for Delhi.
Similarly, 2307 up Howrah-Jodhpur Express, scheduled to leave Howrah at 2330 hours today, would leave the station at 1315 hours tomorrow for Jodhpur in Rajasthan.
All major train services into the state were disrupted following the caste war between two major communities in and outside the state.
The Gujjars are demanding to include them into the list of STs to which the Meena, the largest ST tribe in the state, is protesting against.
