Indore to have 5-star hotel by 2010
Indore, June 3 (UNI) To cater to the needs of metro culture developing in Madhya Pradesh's commercial capital, a company will open a five-star hotel here by 2010.
''After completion of a 247-room hotel at Pune, the Indore project of Sayaji Hotels Ltd -- a listed company -- will gather momentum,'' said the Group's MD Sajid Dhanani. The Group possesses a hotel each here and at Vadodara, besides four restaurants of the Barbeque Nation chain in metros.
Its Rs 200-crore expansion plans also envisage establishing 45 restaurants in different cities over the next couple of years.
''There is still a paucity of hotels in this country,'' said Mr Dhanani while emphasising the need for granting concessions and tax rebate to the industry so that more hotels could be set up.
