DMK issues notice to demolish AIADMK HQ: Jaya
Chennai, June 3: Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa today said the DMK Government has issued notice for demolition of the AIADMK headquarters in the city.
In a statement here, she said a letter to this effect was delivered to the party office yesterday. It was issued at the instigation of Chief Minister and DMK President M Karunanidhi, she alleged.
Ms Jayalalithaa said that without realising what would happen to the DMK headquarters 'Anna Arivalayam' and the buildings constructed by Mr Karunanidhi's family members in future, Mr Karunanidhi had issued notice for demolishing the building, where AIADMK Founder and late Chief Minister M G Ramachandran lived.
The Government's move to issue notice only showed that the ''anti-people'' DMK regime was about to come to an end, she claimed.
