CM inaugurates Shimla Summer festival

Shimla, Jun 3 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbahdra Singh inaugurated the International Shimla Summer Festival here last evening.

He also witnessed the cultural programme and honoured folk singer and President Award Winner Het Ram Thakur and folk singer Basanti Devi.

Mr Singh also released a souvenir on the occasion.

Shimla DC Tarun Kapoor, Lok Sabha MP Pratibha Singh, local legislator Harbhajan Singh Bhajji, Shimla Municipal Corporation Mayor Sohan Lal and several other prominent people of the town were also present on the occasion.
