5 killed, 20 injured in road mishap

Ahmedabad, Jun 3 (UNI) Five persons were killed, three on the spot, and 20 others injured when the mini-truck in which they were travelling turned turtle near Umetha village about 25 kms from here this morning.

According to police, the accident occurred when the driver of the mini-truck lost control over the steering wheel while negotiating a sharp turn.

Two of the victims have been identified as Natubhai Ravji Gohil (30) and Dhorabhai Nanubhai Gohil (35). The injured have been admitted to the SSG Hospital here.

The truck was proceeding towards Dhuvaran town from Angadh village, police said.
