Two killed in accidents and another commits suicide in HP

Shimla, June 2 (UNI) Two people were killed in a road accident and another committed suicide in different incidents here today, police sources said.

Two people were killed after their truck plunged into a gorge at Kushkar, about 137 km from here, near Rampur area of the district early today.

The sources said the two dead persons have been identified as truck driver Puran Dev and Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB) lineman Ishwar Singh.

The cause of the accident was, however, not known immediately, the sources said.

In another incident in the district, a labourer from Nepal identified as Ram Bahadur, 45, committed suicide at Rantari, the sources said, adding that the reason of his suicide was being investigated. A case has been registered, the sources added.
