Priyanka Chopra enters big league, signs 3-film deal with UTV

New Delhi, June 2 (UNI) Having charmed cinegoers with her portrayals in Rakesh Roshan's 'Kkrish' and Farhan Akhtar's 'Don', actor Priyanka Chopra has now entered the big league in Bollywood with UTV Motion Pictures, one of the largest studios of the Indian film industry, signing a mega three-film unique deal with the glamorous actress, making her the first leading lady in the film industry to do so.

Spanning over four years, the "one-of-its-kind" deal with the UTV banner will entail her active involvement in the creative areas of the films. As per the details of the 3-film association announced by UTV yesterday, Priyanka will be involved in the creative brainstorming process of the films including the short-listing of scripts and genres.

Reacting to the deal, the actor, who is among the top ranking ones in Bollywood today following the huge success of 'Kkrish' and 'Don', said,''I am very excited about my association with UTV. The basis of our relationship is that of mutual respect and creativity.

Its associations with the 20th Century Fox (for 'Namesake'), Walt Disney and Will Smith's Overbrook have already positioned UTV as the leading South-Asian Company in the international movie arena.
