One mouzin of a mosque slaughtered in Kashmir

Srinagar, June 2 (UNI) One mouzin of a local mosque in south Kashmir was slaughtered by unidentified persons last night, a police spokesman said today.

He said mouzin ( one who give azan) Mohammad Yaseen Wani was killed by some unidenified persons with a sharp edged weapon when he was peforming prayers in a local mosque at Hurahpora, Shopian, last night.

Police has registered a case and launched a massive manhunt to nab the killers.

People of the area protested against the incident.
