IIHT to expand in 25 international markets

Kolkata, June 2: IIHT, a hardware and networking training company, aims to expand its business in 25 emerging international markets, including South Africa, Vietnam and Phillipines.

Speaking to mediapersons today, IIHT CEO Keshava Raju here said, ''The company will enter into these new international markets with our courses. We have already entered China with 18 centres in the first phase.'' The company has presence in Dubai, New Zealand and Kenya.

IIHT would enter into joint venture with companies in these countries or follow the franchisee model.

Elaborating the details about the degree course in IMS (Infrastructure Management Services), launched by the company, in association with Sikkim Manipal University, he said the company would open 50 exclusive centres, called "IIHT Varsity". Apart from this three-year programme, IIHT-SMU would also launch a post-graduate diploma in IMS, which is a one year programme.

''We will open 100 centres across the country in the first year to offer the IMS courses which will be increased eventually,'' he said.
