1 killed, 12 injured in road accident

Rajkot, June 2 (UNI) One person was killed and twelve others injured when a state transport bus collided with a stationary truck near Padadhari, about 25 kilometres from here, on the Rajkot-Jamnagar highway this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Sunil Panchal (48), the driver of the bus. The injured have been admitted to the Rajkot civil hospital, police said.

Police said the bus was proceeding towards Dhrol from Dahod when the mishap occurred.
