Two CRPF personnel killed and three injured in Kashmir blast
Srinagar, June 1 (UNI) Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed and three others were wounded when a grenade exploded inside a camp in south Kashmir district of Kulgam this afternoon.
A CRPF spokesman told UNI that a grenade exploded when inspection of arms and ammunition was going on in the B-compnay of 161 batallion CRPF at Neehama in Kulgam district.
He said five CRPF personnel were critically wounded in the blast.
The injured were rushed to District hospital where two of them were declared dead. The three seriously wounded were rushed to Srinagar, he added.
Spokesman said it was not immediately known how the grenade exploded without removing the safety pin.
We are looking into the matter, he said.
