Subodh Kant Sahai on official visit to US

New Delhi, Jun 1 (UNI) Minister for food processing industries Subodh Kant Sahai is on a 12-day official visit to the United States where is is likley to hold discussions on issues related to his Ministry.

The issues to be discussed include integrated cold chain facilities, packaging, irradiation facilities and food parks.

During his visit the Minister will meet the US Agriculture Secretary Mike Johannes in Washington.

Mr Sahai will meet the representatives of the US Industry in New York.

He will visit the Chicago Board of Trade in Chicago and the Culinary Institute of America located at St Helena.

He will meet the Captains of the Food Processing Companies in Los Angles and visit Melissa's World Variety Produce at Vernon.
