Skoda sales slip 23% in May at 810 units
New Delhi, Jun 1 (UNI) Premium car maker Skoda India today said its sales dipped by 23.07 per cent at 810 vehicles during May, including 53 units of its flagship model SkodaSuperb, as compared to 1,053 units a year ago.
Skoda India has been operating in the country since November 2001 as a subsidiary of SkodaAuto Czech Republic (Volkswagen Group), one of the premium automobile manufacturers in Europe.
The company has a manufacturing facility in Shendra near Aurangabad, Maharashtra and has 15 luxury models.
It has a network of 48 dealerships across the country and has sold over 43,000 units since November 2001.
