Six year old dies as house catches fire in Punjab

Ludhiana, June 1 (UNI) A six-year old boy was killed while his elder brother and an uncle sustained severe burn injuries when their flat was devastated by a fire in EIP colony on Chandigarh road this evening, police here said.

According to the police the fire was caused due to a short circuit. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and managed to bring the raging flames under control and pervent the fire from spreading to adjoining flats.

The deceased was identified as Lucky while the injured were Kuldip Singh and his uncle Dalip Kmmar, both of whom were admitted to a local hospital.
