Seven Congress MLAs resign from House Committee on GO

Hyderabad, Jun 1 (UNI) Seven Congress MLAs, including senior leader G Venkat Reddy, today resigned from the House Committee on GO 610.

They submitted their resignation letters to Speaker K R Suresh Reddy.

Speaking to newspersons here, Mr Reddy said the MLAs of non-Telangana region had resigned from the Committee, as their voice was being stiffled in the meetings on the monitoring of the implementation of 610 GO, providing jobs to the local people in the backward Telangana region.

The other MLAs, who resigned from the House Committee were, Govinda Reddy, Shailajanath, Pardhasaradhi, Sambaiah, Ravi Babu and B Veda Vyas.
