Patna, June 1 (UNI) Innocent-looking eight-year-old Amardeep Sada from Begusarai district seems like a hard nut to crack for the police, whom he had been evading after having killed three infants in the last one year.

Whenever police tried to dig deep into the incident asking him his motive, the child dodges them with a smile and demands biscuits and tophies from them.

Police said that Amardeep was in fact a serial killer who killed three infants during the last one year. His earlier gory acts had however gone unreported since the victims were his family members.

In the latest incident, Khushboo, a six-month-old infant was sleeping alone in Musahari village primary school under Bhagwanpur police station on Tuesday while her mother Chunchun Devi was busy in household chores nearby. That was when Amardeep strangled the infant and also hit her with a brick before attempting to bury the body in a nearby field.

Later, he led the villagers to the spot and told them the gory tale of how he executed the killing.

''The child gives a broad smile and demands tophies from us when we ask him about the killing,'' said Shatrughan Kumar officer-in -charge of Bhagwanpur police station.

Amardeep's uncle admitted before mediapersons here that the child killed a six-month-old sister a few months ago and a cousin at his maternal uncle's place a year back. The modus-operandi in all these killings were same - strangulation UNI
