Noted Gandhian R K Patil passes away

Nagpur, June 1 (UNI) Noted Gandhian Ramrao Krishnarao alias ''Dadasaheb'' Patil died here of old age. He was 99.

Mr Patil leaves behind his wife Subhadra, two sons Prakash and Pradeep, and two daughters, Uma Deshpande and Sheela Shabde.

His wife, sons and daughter-in-laws were by his side when Mr Patil breathed his last at his residence in Civil Lines area here late this afternoon. Mr Patil would have completed 100 years of age on December 13 later this year.

The funeral will be held here tomorrow morning. Mr Patil had recently been selected for the Maharashtra Bhushan Award for this year.
