Lupin receives US FDA's nod to market Cefadroxil

New Delhi, Jun 1: Pharma major Lupin Ltd today said it has received go-ahead from US Food and Drug Administration for its generic antibiotic Cefadroxil capsules, is used to treat infections caused by various bacteria.

With this approval, Lupin now has 23 abbreviated new drug applications (ANDAs) approved by the US FDA, a statement said.

Recently, the company received a tentative approval from the US FDA for its ANDA for Ziprasidone capsules 20 mg, 40 mg and 60 mg.
