Joint movement of trade unions against port privatisation
Kolkata, Jun 1(UNI) Five Central Trade Unions will meet in Delhi on June six to chalk out plans for a nationwide joint movement against privatisation of ports, CITU President M K Pandhe today said.
"Privatisation of ports would endanger the internal security of the country besides posing threat to the employees.
The Trade Unions have decided to launch a countrywide joint movement against the Centre's policy," he told reporters.
Mr Pandhe said the HMS, INTUC and AITUC were among other Central Trade Unions to take part in the proposed movement.
