IMA demands rescue of abducted children
Patna, Jun 1 (UNI) The Indian Medical Association (IMA) today demanded immediate rescue of two minor nephews of Dr Dinesh Singh of Begusarai from the clutches of kidnappers.
A joint delegation of politicians and IMA, Bihar chapter, headed by president Basant Singh, called on chief minister Nitish Kumar and urged him to ensure rescue operation to search the abducted children, who were kidnapped from Begusarai on May 16.
Mr Kumar assured them that efforts were on to locate and rescue the children.
Mr Kumar directed state police chief Ashish Ranjan Sinha to constitute a task force for search operation.
Deputy speaker of Bihar assembly Bhola Singh and former MP Shatrughan Prasad Singh were among others who represented the delegation.
