Sister fears for life writing book on Madhumita
Dehradun, May 31 (UNI) Nidhi Shukla the sister of slain poetess Madhumita Shukla today expressed her apprehension that she might be attacked or even murdered.
Talking to media report after giving her last testimony in front of special court hearing the case, Ms Shukla said she feared that she could even be murdered as she has given her last statement to the Court.
She urged the media to pursue the case further if anything happens to her.
Ms Shukla who appeared for the seventh time today as witness in her sister's murder case against main accused Amarmani Tripathy, said she was working on a book on the life history of her sister Madhumita that would include how she became a poetess and circumstances under which she was murdered.
All the court proceedings and the agony her family has gone through in these years would be narrated too.
Asked about the title of the book, she said "Meri Bahen ka Katil" (My sister's killer). She said that the book would be released the very next day when the judgement in the case would be given.
