NSUI organises anti-tobacco rally
Hyderabad, May 31 (UNI) Observing ''Anti-Tobacco Day'', the National Students Union of India (NSUI) organised a massive anti-tobacco rally here today.
According to a press release NSUI activists cremated a 10-feet-long cigar to mark the occasion.

alarming
to
know
that
ten
million
students
were
addicted
to
tobacco
in
the
country.
This
is
mainly
due
to
market
expansion
strategies
of
cigarette
manufacturers.''
Urging
the
government
agencies
and
Non-Government
Organisations
(NGOs)
to
join
hands
to
make
a
tobacco-free
society,
he
said
''the
NSUI
was
strongly
against
increasing
exhibition
of
consumption
of
tobacco
in
movies.''
